Fix 1: Special Password Application
AOL now requires a special application password to be included instead of your normal password. To do that
If you have enabled 2-step verification for your AOL account, you must generate and use the "Application Password" to access AOL Password from this application.
1. Enter and go to the AOL account security page. You can do this by signing AOL from a computer.
2. Click Generate Application Password or Manage Application password.
3. Select your application from the drop-down menu and make it click.
4. Follow the instructions below the password.
- Be sure to enter a password into your application without spaces.
5. Click Finish.
6. Use this application password and your email address to enter your email application.
Fix 2: Delete and Add the AOL account again
One simple solution is to just delete my AOL account: Settings> Mail> Account> AOL> Delete the account. Then returned: Settings> Mail> Account> Add account, and now check the AOL account on the iPhone. Hopefully, this will be repaired!
Fix 3: Update the iPhone to the latest iOS
If you still can't access AOL letters on the iPhone then you can try updating the iPhone to the latest iOS version to fix any software errors.
